We are IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we are finally in the new house.

Spring break proved to be a great time to do anything but take a break. We started boxing a few things weeks ago but we kicked into overdrive last week. We were told that we should be able to move on Friday (3/19) which would have been great. Sunny with a high in the upper 60's, I thought we were set - move on Friday then have the Yard Sale on Saturday. One phone call later, not moving but the Yard Sale was still on. There we were almost everything packed, front room of the house looked like a small Wal-Mart, packed and empty boxes, and a very empty living room.

Saturday morning, Yard Sale! You kinda have a uneasy feeling when you advertise Yard Sale and then it snows enough to cover your yard and makes your sidewalk a passage that only Apolo Ohno can pass. A box a salt and some shoveling later we were ready to go. We had many people come out in the wintry wonderland and we had sold most of the big items by noon.

Then another phone call, the move was on...

There is nothing like a Yard Sale and a move on the same day. If it wasn't for our family, we wouldn't have been able to do it. They all pitched in and we had almost everything moved to the new house by 7:00 that evening.

We would like to say thank you to everyone that helped and/or offered to help. We are very blessed to have a family that pitches in and helps us to accomplish a move and yard sale in the same day. We are very excited about the new house and looking forward to the day we can actually sit in it... furniture is still being shipped, oh well the carpet is comfortable.
